Dead in the Water - acrylics

This was the second in a series of paintings I did for the Mystara game
world. It was used on the cover of Glantri: Kingdom of Magic. I
was reasonably happy with this piece, but I wish you could see the original.
The scan from the collector's card doesn't do it justice. So much subtlety
is lost in the reproduction process. Altogether, it's one of the more
uneven works I did while at TSR. I really liked the way the water in the
canal came out, but the rendering on the objects in much of the rest of
the piece doesn't work for me.
